The annual subscription for membership of HMA Vic Inc is currently $85.00 (GST incl) per calendar year. This fee may be subject to increase or alteration at the discretion of the Executive Committee and membership. Renewal invoices are issued at the start of each year.
An applicant must provide the following:
1. Evidence of a minimum of two years’ regular/continuous horticultural media work supported by a CV or other documentation, together with five examples of work (printed material, audio and/or video tapes) produced in the past twelve months.
Where an applicant has less than two years’ regular experience, associate membership may be offered. Associate members enjoy all privileges of membership but are not permitted to vote at general meetings of members or the Annual General Meeting, nor can they nominate for an executive position. Associate members may be invited to apply for full membership at the completion of two years provided their applications can be supported by documentary or other evidence.
2. The appropriate completed membership application form – proposer and seconder must be financial members of the HMA Vic Inc. Where possible, obtain signatures.
HMA Vic Inc represents members of the horticultural media in Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania. (Queensland, NSW and South Australia maintain separate organisations). Members of HMA Vic are automatically members of the national association, HMAA.

Please note that new memberships paid between September 1 and December 31, 2013 will be valid to December 31, 2014.
Final approval of applications will be by the full elected committee and applicants will be advised if they have been successful. Cheques or direct deposits will be returned to those whose applications have not been successful.
